G510 LCD Wallpaper Images
EDIT: Ok here’s some extra info on how to install a BMP using AIDA64 or Everest:
In AIDA64/Everest, goto File, Preference, then scroll down to LCD. Tick “Enable Logitech keyboard LCD Support”.
Then go down to LCD Items, click “New BMP”, then locate the file, Click Apply.
Unfortunately the Logitech Gaming Software sucks (even the new version 8). For some weird reason, it doesn’t always keep AIDA64’s applet after a reboot (I set AIDA64 to load windows start-up), even after getting in/out of it; That said, I just now tried getting in and out of AIDA64 and the applet came back…. so I don’t know what’s going on.
I got me a Logitech G510 for $75, from Logitechshop.com.au yesterday, and have since been having fun with the customisation options.
Normally, I don’t think its possible to add pictures to the LCD screen, but luckily Everest does have that ability (in the LCD Settings).
So I went off to make a couple of bitmap (grayscale bitmap seems to work mostly) images with OEM logos (for showoffishness =P) :
and another depicting my reverence towards this wicked keyboard:
Possibly more on the way =P
Here’s the link to my Public SkyDrive
Hello there, just found your page here and must say you did a good job. any chance you would take a order for a bmp picture for my G510? im pretty crap at it myself to be honest.
im just after a simple text that i want as a bmp for the screen.
anyhow, gl with the G510 its one awesome keyboard 🙂
thanks! sure I’d be happy to give it a shot
Hello again, thanks to responding to my comment! 🙂
im after a BMP that says “LaFace” for my G510 but im awful at photoshop like programs.
thanks again in advance. not sure how this works..but are you able to see my email when i post a comment here?
Yeh I do get your email, but its easier to just chuck it on my SkyDrive.
Literally took like a minute to make lol, its up on http://cid-267513838a25ae83.office.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/G510%20Bitmaps
As for using it, you will either need to get a copy of Everest Ultimate (now called AIDA64), or find another applet that will display bmp’s for you (http://www.logitechusers.com/showthread.php?t=3846 looks promising).
If you want a different font or whatever its no problem just send another comment 😉
i know how to add it, thats no problem. and the bmp looks good to me, thanks alot.
would love it in a more fat/digital type font if you’re able to. either way the one you made will do just fine!
thanks again!
It also seems that the one you made doesn’t work. i get others to work with AIDA64, and the only difference i can see is that the ones i got, have a bit deepth on 1bit and they work. while the one you made for me for 24 bit deepth.
any thoughts?
Whoops, yeh I forgot to change it back to black & white 1 bit. Fixed now, and added a few more that might suit your needs better. If you want a specific font, just give me the name of it and I should either have it, or be able to get it.
How do I use the wallpapers with AIDA64 ?
For some reason I don’t get as good a picture in AIDA64, but anyway, just go File, Preference, then scroll down to LCD. Tick “Enable Logitech keyboard LCD Support”.
Then go down to LCD Items, click “New BMP”, then locate the file, Click Apply.

oh and another thing I still haven’t worked out is how to get the Logitech software to re-attach AIDA64 after a reboot. For some reason or another it doesn’t come back automatically.
