damage control

So the saga continues…

To make the things right, I acquired a program called Active@ Partition Recovery Professional.

It looks promising, and I’m currently running a scan on the HDD (NTFS only obviously) for lost partitions. As of right now, its @ 30% and has upgraded the recoverability from “Very Bad” to “Bad” … I’m not sure whether I should be encouraged by that or not, but it may be classifying it as bad because it’s thinking the old ISO versions of the movies which I deleted were still a part of the partition.

Blog 2.0

Righto, since my previous blog was unceremoniously destroyed for no reason whatsoever -by a poorly written bash script no less-, and I might have forgotten to back up the site =S; This will now be my permanent blog.

In the mean time, I shall be de-recommending 0000free.com as a good free host, as it is not. Who the hell doesn’t do an automated backup of accounts being pruned? Yes I know, its free…. but come on!

My annoyance aside, I re-signed up for another hosting account (derrynj.co.cc still) and it’s back online. That said it only redirects here. Maybe sometime ill make up a new site to go with it.
